The American Reform Party announced today that it has established a legal fund to prevent the inevitable passage and enactment of both Health Care Reform and Carbon Cap & Trade bills by the Senate.
On behalf of all American voters opposed to government Health Care Reform, Cap and Trade legislation or have just plain had it with our legislators continually violating our Constitution and their abuse of power bestowed on them by their constituents, has established the…
The American Reform Parties newly appointed National Chairman, Michael Simone, has announced that the ARP is in the process of developing a plan to create a unified national coalition of the over 20 Independent Party's in the United States. It is the Party's beleif that through a coalition of independent 3rd parties, with a clearly defined and unified Platform, will allow voters to readily identify with and support Independent candidates with confidence.
Mr. Simone said he recognized that this can be a "daunting if not monumental task but one for which time has come." The party goal is to reach a coalition…
The sudden spasm of intense debate over abortion on Capitol Hill this week threatens not only to stall the passage of health care legislation, but also to shatter the delicate cease-fire that has governed the abortion issue during the Obama era.
After months of dodging high-profile confrontations over abortion, Democrats — including President Barack Obama — find themselves faced with a stark set of alternatives: Support a bill that imposes limits on access to abortion or…

Somewhere in the liberal print and broadcast media today very important people are using the words “DeMint” and “Coburn” in the same sentence with words like “fools,” “doomed,” or ‘hopeless.” And, as usual, these very important people are wrong.
Jim DeMint and Tom Coburn, of course, are the Republican senators from South Carolina and Oklahoma, who today introduced a constitutional amendment providing for a maximum…

When the Founders of the American Republic drafted and ratified the U.S. Constitution in 1787, they did not envision a role for political parties. Indeed, they sought through various constitutional arrangements — such as separation of powers among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches; by federalism; and by indirect election of the president by an Electoral College — to insulate the new republic from parties and factions.
In spite of the Founders' intentions, the United States in…

Never before in our Country's history has an independent candidate had a better chance of being elected to public office then now. With Independent voters in the US now representing over 47% of the entire voting public and both Republican and Democrat voters distancing themselves from their respective parties, The Conservative Independent candidate offers the voters a clear choice.
I came to Phoenix today to put before you an idea for building a party. The voters in America are not apathetic, they are not lazy. THEY ARE DISGUSTED.
They are so sick of politicians and would be politicians telling them, give me a chance, I will lower your taxes and raise your salary. I'll straighten everything out for you. They have heard this all their lives only to help elect someone and then see him or her become just like all the rest, in a very short time. We all know that some good people…
History suggests that democracies are reactive and wake up to serious problems either late or, occasionally, too late. Public policy in a democracy is always playing "catch up." We shall begin the 21st century paying a price for three neglected policy areas that will test the very core of our country.
The first policy area likely to cause political turmoil in the next century will be retiring the baby boomers. Not long into the 21st century a massive tsunami of 76 million Americans born between 1946 and 1964 will begin to retire. They will impact public…
There is no animal that has meant more to the history, economy, and folklore of this nation than the buffalo. At one time, nearly 60 million buffalo roamed North America from end of the country to the other-wherever grasslands and prairies provided grazing range for the great herds. Driven nearly to extinction from 1870 to 1900 by inane killing sprees, the buffalo has recovered with the help of wildlife conservationists and some federal programs. The bull moose was the symbol for Teddy Roosevelt's Progressive Party, but the buffalo, (bison bison) is the choice of the American…
America needs a new political party. The most pressing issues facing the nation are beyond the ability of the two parties to solve, because neither party can act alone to solve these problems, and any bipartisan compromise can not equal the magnitude of the problems we face. These are not issues problems we are talking about here; they are structural problems. Structural problems that we are not even seriously debating, let alone solving! Structural problems that can only be solved by a new political coalition.
A new political party is not without precedent. There…
