ALL EUROPEAN LIFE DIED IN AUSCHWITZ

Don Torgersen : June 17, 2011

The following is a copy of an article written by Spanish writer Sebastian Vilar Rodriguez and published in a Spanish newspaper onJan. 15, 2008. It doesn't take much imagination to extrapolate the message to the rest of Europe - and possibly to the rest of the world.

OBAMA’S MANIFESTO:  NO ECONOMICS DEGREE REQUIRED

Sharon Sebastian : June 08, 2011

The latest Washington Post-ABC poll reports that 59% of Americans disapprove of the President’s handling of the economy. The joke is that if Obama ever does anything right, it will be by accident. As Obama steers the nation on a perilous financial course, some still assign a purity of intent to Obama while acknowledging his disastrous failings. Some contend that Obama’s lack of a business degree or business experience has failed him. Other Americans keenly recognize a pattern of premeditation as the nation’s economy plunges into a downward spiral. When it comes to emptying out the U.S. treasury, losing…

HOW DEMS WIN, GOP LOSES

Before treading deeper into the swamp of bi-partisan negotiations that is Washington, Republicans need a tutorial. A pattern reveals a cycle of Republican defeats at the hands of the masters of manipulation. Democrats are rulers of backroom deals, strong-arm tactics and a manic impulse to use the race card on anyone who stands between them and their agenda. One need only recall the health care law brought into existence by overlords Obama, Reid and Pelosi. Dems play an old game based on disingenuous, strong-arm, win-at-all-costs strategies. With a GOP slow to catch on, Dems merely repeat the same tricks…

Ticked Off

Don Torgersen : May 23, 2011

Sure, Social Security is an entitlement! We paid into it (and Medicare) for years and our employer paid into it as well and, indeed, we ARE ENTITLED TO IT!!!

Someone is ticked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS SENIOR CITIZEN NAILED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alan Simpson, Senator from Wyoming , Co-Chair of Obama's deficit commission, calls senior citizens the Greediest Generation as he compared "Social Security" to a Milk Cow with 310 million teats.

Here's a response in a letter from a unknown fellow in Montana. I think he is a little ticked off!   He also tells it like it is !

BLOOD AND TREASURE (Redux): Tribute to our Military

Memorial Day signifies and celebrates America’s valiant warriors of today and yesterday. Our nation’s pride is mixed with pain as we pay tribute to America's finest. Honoring our lost and wounded, that fought for our freedoms in all wars, is every citizen’s duty. Chance meetings with members of our military, followed by a firm handshake and heartfelt gratitude, fall shy of our deepest appreciation for their sacrifice. So, again I share a passing encounter with a young Marine who was faceless in an airport crowd, but now remains imbedded in both mind and heart.

During a long layover at an…

Does GOP Have Spine To Stand On Principle and Resist Compromise

Sharon Sebastian : April 27, 2011

Myopically, Republicans are asking themselves – why are voters swooning over Trump?

Republican voters began feeling disenfranchised in 2005-2006 when core conservative principles were discarded by a GOP in search of the independent and liberal vote. The outcry of being constituents without representation rang true in conservative circles. Unwarranted spending sprees and unprotected borders had dire consequences for the GOP in 2008 as liberals swept the vote. Once burned, voters today warn that a GOP that compromises values, rights and freedoms could mean the death knell of the party. In 2010, after two harried years of Barack Obama,…

Obama dirving Americans into Poverty

Michael Simone : April 15, 2011

Obama's policies and lack of action to bring the United States into the Twenty First Century of Oil and Energy Independence is driving the cost of food to outrageous levels with no end in sight. Should Obama and his administration fail to act quickly and I mean NOW, Americans will begin to see poverty as it has never witnessed before. Not even during the Depression.

However, something tells me Obama is relishing in this possibility and opportunity to put more Americans on the Public Dole securing his and other Messiahs to come a Kingdom.

Obama Encourages Higher Fuel Prices to force His Cap & Trade on America

Michael Simone : April 15, 2011

If you think Obama's health care bill was a disaster and a government power grab over Americans, then you haven't seen anything yet. Should Obama and his administration be successful in passing the Cap & Trade, now known as the Green Energy Bill, we're finished.

We are now, for the second time in just three years, experiencing a dramatic surge in energy and fuel cost approach $4.00 TO $5.00 A Gallon. Meanwhile, Obama nor his administration refuse to do anything to realistically address the situation or provide temporary relief. Instead all we hear from his mouth is we…

Obama Budget Plan is pure Smoke & Mirrors

Michael Simone : April 14, 2011

When will the American people catch on that this President is a complete and absolute fraud. Obviously, He severely lacks the substance, knowledge or experience to run our country, the economy or our foreign policy making him the most dangerous and destructive person at the helm of this country.

Yesterday, this inexperienced man child of a President went before the country with a so-called budget plan to reduce our $14 Trillion plus National debt by a meager $4 Trillion while taking 12 years in which to do so. The only problem with his plan is that its filled…

Who Won the Shutdown Showdown? It Wasn’t Even Close

ARParty : April 09, 2011

While Republicans wanted to cut more spending in Saturday's early morning compromise to keep the government open, they think they got the better of the deal.

Here's why: HR1 was originally to seek spending cuts of $32 billion until Tea Party conservatives insisted on more than $ 60 billion. House Speaker John Boehner won more cuts than he originally sought and got the Senate to agree to votes to defund the health care reform law and groups like the nation's largest abortion provider Planned Parenthood - once votes Senate Majority leader Harry Reid said…

Government Remains Open for Business

ARParty : April 09, 2011

Congressional leaders announced late Friday night they had reached a deal to fund the government through the end of the fiscal year and made preparations to pass the proposed bill next week.

The deal includes $38.5 billion in spending cuts while leaving the more contentious policy matters, such as blocking funding for Planned Parenthood, for a later debate.

The Senate passed a short-term spending measure Friday night to buy lawmakers the time needed to prepare and pass the final budget bill next week. The House passed the measure early Saturday, which will be…

The 28th Amendment

Don Torgersen : April 08, 2011

No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 50% of their pay. While politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full pay retirement after serving one term. It just does not make any sense.

Monday on Fox news they learned that the staffers of Congress family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if…

WHY A CONVENTION OF STATES?

Simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do. So it all boils down to one question: Who do you think should decide what’s best for you and your family? You, or the feds? We’d vote for the American people every single time.
