Senate Democrats Defeat Repeal Effort of Healthcare Legislation

Michael Simone : February 03, 2011

US Senate Democrats, yesterday defeated the efforts of Republicans to overturn the Obama Healthcare law by banning together and unanimously voting against the repeal of Obamacare.

I find this particularly indignant and extremely contemptuous by Democrats in light of both numerous polls showing 70% of Americans want the bill repealed and the recent Federal Court Ruling declaring the healthcare law unconstitutional. These Democrats are not only contemptuous but are flipping their finger at the American people, the Federal Judge, the Courts and our Constitution as they vote to continue violating both the will of the people and the…

For Veteran’s Day: A vet who understands the enemy we face

Don Torgersen : January 31, 2011

President Obama this week once again called Islam "a great religion" which has been "distorted" by a small number of "extremists" to justify committing acts of violence against the West.

But the Qur'an (or Koran) itself, the holy book of Islam, contains over 100 verses calling for violence against Christians and Jews. To give just one example, Sura 9:5 says, "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them."

During a panel discussion sponsored by the Hudson Institute last January, retired Army Lt. Colonel Allen West, who did combat duty in…

545 Politicians Control the Lives of over 300 Million Americans

ARParty : January 22, 2011

The article below is completely neutral, neither anti republican or democrat article but a MUST READ.

This article was written by 49 year veteran journalist Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinal. We believe he has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that, in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgements made that impact each one of us every day.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create a country's problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered,…

Spinning a National tragedy into a campaign kick-off

BettyJean Downing : January 22, 2011

Posted on January 14, 2011 by freemenow

For the Obamacrats to turn a memorial for the victims of this national tragedy into a BO campaign kickoff is even more reprehensible (if such a thing is possible) than the immediate politicizing of the tragedy before the victims’ families or America had even begun to absorb the shock and before the legal investigation had even begun.

Have you seen the 13,000 Tee-shirts that were waiting for the mourners on their arrival? The TV- Trons also told the audience when to appaud. To their credit, the producers didn't ask for the cheers and whistles…

OPEN LETTER TO SARAH PALIN

Sharon Sebastian : January 14, 2011

Governor Palin – Your widening sphere of political influence, along with the Tea Party, is changing the course of political history. A powerful shift in political thinking occurred immediately after the devastating tragedy in Tucson. Revealed to all Americans was the underbelly of the political left. Witnessed was the brazen attempt and rabid reaction by the left’s political attack dogs to use the loss of life and attempted murder of a congresswoman as political fodder. Victims barely made it to the hospital before many Democrats and left-wing ideologues began to show their true stripes.  They attacked you, the Tea…

US Constitution: Isn’t Equality, Opportunity and Justice for ALL a Human Right?

BettyJean Downing : January 06, 2011

Today I sat and watched the Congress read the Constitution for the very first time! Wow! Can you imagine that?

I have a copy in my purse – I carry it around with me- I love the Constitution with all its original faults such as the Three-Fifths clause, which states slaves are “three fifths of all other persons,” None of these original passages were in the amended version, which avoided the awkward question of who reads what.

Rep. Jesse Jackson, D-Ill., expressed concern about eliminating the reading of the controversial passages, reminding lawmakers of their seriousness and…

NY Congerssmen Anthony Weiner (D) A complete and utter Moron

Michael Simone : December 08, 2010

Today, I just watched an interview between Congressmen Anthony Weiner (D) from New York and Megan Kelly of Fox News regarding his position on the Bush tax cut extension debate including the looming resumption and increase of the Death Penalty Tax to 55%.

I can only say that Mr. Weiners' position and response to Megan Kelly regarding the elimination of the Death Penalty Tax and the ensuing Bush tax cut expiration proves the lack of common sense in the liberal Democratic Party that, if continued and supported, will bring the party to its ultimate demise. Hooray!

Weiner…

Congressmen Allen West (R) of Florida lays his position straight on the line

Don Torgersen : December 03, 2010

Newly elected Congressmen Lt. Colonel Allen West (R) of Florida pulls no punches as he lays out his position straight on the line regarding terrorism, Obama's refusal to face the facts and weak position on fighting radical Islamic Muslims. Finally, someone who speaks his mind the truth and knows how to clearly define the situation without the DC spin.

We need to elect more people to office like Allen West.

How DARWIN “Is The Grinch” Who Stole Christmas

Sharon Sebastian : December 02, 2010

A backlash against banishing Christmas from the public square is in an uphill battle against liberal courts, the ACLU and the government itself. Last year, a message of discontent was sent to culpable retailers by the American Family Association and increasing numbers of American shoppers. Presents were purchased and money spent where Christmas greetings were not only welcomed, but extended. Only because of the almighty dollar, and not the Almighty, have some merchants softened their opposition to the mention of Christmas. The underlying hostility, however, still brims as liberal courts, the ACLU and the government stand firm.

The…

OBAMA: A threat to National Security Capitalism and the American Way

Michael Simone : November 13, 2010

In the wake of the country's mid-term election, that resulted in both a thumping of Democrats in the House of Representatives by Republicans and a stern warning issued to President Obama and his administration, I remain appalled over our President's refusal to acknowledge the American people's rejection of his destructive policies.

Not only does he refuse to listen to the voice of the people he has the unmitigated Gaul and arrogance to insist that he will only accept a compromise and/or partial repeal of both the Bush tax cuts and his disastrous health care law. It is this…

WHY A CONVENTION OF STATES?

Simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do. So it all boils down to one question: Who do you think should decide what’s best for you and your family? You, or the feds? We’d vote for the American people every single time.
